Sustainable homeware built on material honesty.

The Brief

Two wood types. Two forms. Two sizes. The product and its range already contained the answer, before any design work began. The only question remained was whether to unify those differences into a single visual language or let the material lead.

The Approach

Beltram produces trays from locally sourced oak and beech. The two woods differ in colour, grain and origin, so the system was built around that distinction rather than smoothing it out. Each wood type was given its own colourway and leaf form, creating a simple but recognisable structure across the brand. The palette draws directly from the landscape the materials come from: terracotta for oak, green for beech.

The Outcome

These colours run consistently across packaging, signage, social templates and lookbooks. The system works at shelf level, from a distance, or in a social feed thumbnail, before a single word needs to be read.
